“Fried Green Tomatoes” is the next movie to be shown as part of Unity of Santa Barbara’s “Movies That Matter” series, Friday, August 4th at 7 PM. Q&A to follow with author Fannie Flagg present.
The beloved 1991 film is based on Fannie’s book “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe”, and stars Kathy Bates, Jessica Tandy, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Mary-Louise Parker. Fannie also makes an appearance in the film.
