About the filmmakers:
Dana Croschere is the award-winning Producer behind the transformative documentary, “Love Heals.” In 2020, Dana faced the challenges of two unsuccessful spine surgeries and debilitating chronic pain, which took her on a journey from seeing herself as a victim to understanding that her pain held messages, guiding her toward a deeper understanding of herself.
Dana’s story is a testament to the power of patience, compassion, and self-love in the face of adversity and serves as a guiding light for those seeking inspiration, resilience, hope, and healing.
Krisanna Sexton, the award-winning director of “Love Heals,” knows firsthand the power that comes from embracing our authenticity. Although she has been a filmmaker since the age of 16, she didn’t come out as gay until she was 28. As she began her journey toward love and acceptance of herself, she also discovered her potential to create conscious films.
Renowned for her multifaceted skills, she expertly handled all aspects of cinematography, editing, audio mastering, and color correction. Krisanna believes our stories have the power to change the world and remains committed to spreading hope and healing through the films she creates, working alongside the love of her life, Dana.
